The Challenge:
Roughly half the world’s population resides in urban areas. Cellular coverage is not yet seamless – for urban dwellers but even more so for rural dwellers. Outside the mainstream coverage zones, both data and cellular networks have grown around populations, and have formed network “islands.” This can be due to a vast expanse of harsh or remote landscape, or actual offshore island geographies. Short of trenching cable underwater or across plains, connecting the community networks punctuating the landscape is impossible using traditional wired backhaul.

The Solution:
High-bandwidth wireless connections go where wires cannot.
