Embracing the growing demand for wireless surveillance, Security College US decided to incorporate wireless telecommunications in its curriculum and chose the Tsunami 820 point to point wireless solution for all its ‘hands on’ laboratory training sessions. Prior to selecting Proxim, the college evaluated a number of wireless solutions in the market, said Mr. Arturo Grandon, CEO & Director of Security College US.
“The Tsunami product line simply outperformed. We chose Proxim’s Tsunami 820 solutions because of their superior QoS (Quality of Service), low latency, high efficiency, and advanced RF management features,” said Mr. Hector Porras, Academic Director of Security College US and a SONY engineer. Tsunami 820 point to point wireless solutions offer unparalleled performance by harnessing the advantages of MIMO, OFDM, and the WORP® advanced MAC protocol. Moreover, WORP offers a full suite of performance features such as asymmetric bandwidth control, IGMP Snooping and interference mitigation features, to deliver exceptionally high system throughputs with minimal latency, jitter, and packet loss.
“It’s extremely satisfying to see the Tsunami 820 product line as a preferred choice of security engineers and analysts,” said Greg Marzullo, President and CEO of Proxim Wireless. “We’re proud to be included as a pivotal tool in Security College US’ training programs.”
