Why We Say
Versatile and Flexible
Bandwidth Throttling
WORP® allows service providers to control network bandwidth, protecting the network from excessive bandwidth use by any one station. Additionally, it allows service providers to differentiate their service offerings.Asymmetric Bandwidth Controls
Asymmetric bandwidth gives network managers the ability to set different maximum bandwidth rates for a variety of customer groups. This allows service providers to further differentiate their service offerings and maximize revenues.
Flexible Centre Frequency
This feature helps to change the operating channel center frequency. If the predefined center frequencies are not desirable, a user can shift the center frequency to suit the requirements by configuring the Channel Offset. By default, the Channel Offset is set to 0. You can configure the Channel Offset in the range -2 to +2 MHz.
Data Stream Mode
Higher throughput or longer Range or both?
Select the Data Streams: Set the number of data streams as per your needs. Higher data streams allows higher throughput whereas lesser data streams to ensure reliability over long range requirements. A user can also set it to the Auto Streams, where radios adaptively selects the stream modes based on the environment conditions.
Dynamic Channel Selection
This feature scans for interference free channels round the clock and dynamically selects the same, thereby ensuring minimal performance degradation from common interference sources.
ATPC (Adaptive Transmit Power Control)
This is an adaptive feature that enables Proxim radios to continuously sense neighboring radios and dynamically adjust their transmit power. Standard wireless solutions void of this feature typically suffer from interference and signal saturations caused by neighboring radios leading to data errors and higher retransmissions ultimately causing lower throughput and sometimes even link outage.
