JOB DESCRIPTION: TECHNICAL LEAD / MANAGER

Layer2/Layer3 protocol development for bridges/switches/Mesh systems – ( 5 – 8yrs)

802.11 MAC layer protocol/Feature development for wireless Access Points

code review and debugging of existing wireless access point products
root cause analysis and resolution of problem areas in the code
design, implementation and unit test of new features for current and new wireless access products and systems
analysis, design and implementation of modular, flexible, white-box and field level debug support functionality
analysis, design and implementation of software mechanisms to improve code stability, improve performance, or reduce footprint

Software quality, modularity/flexibility, ease of use and time to market are measures of success.

Development experience in the following areas: VxWorks/Linux based embedded software development for data networking equipment using C. Hands on experience with Layer2/Layer 3 protocol development. Good communications skills and the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team are essential attributes.
