Job Description: Regional Sales Manager – China

Location:

• The position is based in China

Mission:

• As part of our international sales team, you will be responsible for driving the sales revenues for the China entire Proxim product line. You will need to significantly develop our business in this region by addressing key players such as operators, service providers, system integrators, enterprise customers and government through our various sales channels resellers, tier 1 partners, OEM and direct.
• Reports to Sales Director - Asia & Middle East

Description of Function and Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the sales action plan for targeted customers in order to drive and significantly increase sales revenues and to grow Proxim's penetration and our image in this territory.

• Take full responsibility of sales achievements and sales follow-up for the targeted customers.

• Drive revenues through the management of existing distributors, partners, VARs, and major accounts and establish new key customer accounts through a direct approach and the management of the partner channel relationship, measuring the performance of partners against objectives and providing support to reach or exceed revenue and profit objectives. You would be responsible for creating push in demand which should be realized as sales through established and new VARs, partners and distributors.

Experience Required:

• Autonomous but with a strong team spirit, well organized, capable of working remotely and results-oriented. You need to possess leadership qualities and good interpersonal skills.  Very familiar with the telecommunications scenario, the major opportunities and players in South East Asia region.
• Need to have minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in selling telecommunications or IT solutions.
